Description
D'Ax, direction Orlu puis Petches et poursuivre sur la route forestière. Se garer à la barrière. Prendre le circuit jaune jusqu'au col. Très beau panorama sur les Pyrénées ariégeoises.La cabane sert de gîte non gardé. Il y a une source en contrebas à gauche de la cabane. Suivre ensuite le GR 107 et, au moment où il plonge vers Mérens, continuer sur la route forestière qui ramène à la voiture.
A noter que, hors piste, on peut monter au Cap Carbone d'où il y a une vue encore plus étendue
