départ lac du Boréon balise 370,direction vallon du Cavalet balise 374 vers le lac Cerise ,monté vers col cerise a la cascade partir sur la droite pour aller sur le lac du Mercantour , remonter sur l arrête à droite du lac pour monté sur les pierriers mettre un peu les mains sans grand difficulté.
