Description

Ce circuit de taille moyenne est le meilleur choix pour découvrir à la fois le patrimoine du quartier du Castera, les charmes du plateau calcaire de Latresne et les anciens marais ou palus de la Garonne. Les anciens marais sont le résultat de terres gagnées au fil des siècles sur le fleuve. C’est une zone humide et marécageuse que l’homme n’a eu cesse de tenter de maîtriser et dont l'histoire est riche. Les coteaux sont parsemés de châteaux historiques et de vignobles. Le quartier du Castera quand à lui, garde encore les traces, pour qui sait les lire, de son riche passé.
