Description

This charming walk, departing from the Bois du Grand Berceau wood, runs along small, less frequented roads and passes through many local places of interest. You can admire a hilly landscape here, an isolated house or a lake and its natural environment there. From the "Champ du Four" ("Oven Field") to the "Champ de la Truie" ("Sow Field"), you will walk along superb country paths and woodland trails that take you to "la Tourpène", the halfway point, where you will have untrammelled views of Froidchapelle village centre. Admire the view on your way through the hillside district of "Paye à Fait" and head down to the "Pont des Hamaides" district before heading back up towards the "Troupeau". You will finish your walk on the paths through the Bois du Grand Berceau wood where, if you feel up to it, you can indulge in the joys of sport on the Vita track, and why not round it all off with a nice barbecue?
