Description
Trail created by Vallée de la Meuse Namur-Dinant.
Departure : Place Vaxelaire in Bioul
At the beginning of the place, take on your right the street of Fraire.
Then take the first street on the right, rue de Frisle, then directly on the left, for 300m, then on the right (it would be a pity not to make a 100m round trip to an old quarry and a large multi-century lime tree in a pasture on the right).
You are now in the rue de Stampia, where archers used to practice in the Middle Ages.
Come back to the rue de Frisle which you will take by turning left. This street brings you to the ruisseau de Burnot (here you can make a 500m round trip on your left to the castle of Neffe).
Drive along the brook, cross straight at the crossing, and 500m further on, continue to the left on this road which follows Burnot and an old streetcar.
Pass the road on the right that goes up to the farm of Gerlin.
At the old chapel take the right path that leads you to the Haute-Bise (because the wind is terrible there).
At the first houses turn left to the rue Parapet, then, after 300m, a small link to the right which leads to the rue Sur-le-Dos.
Cross this street and take a straight path which passes in the middle of old sandpits, this path will lead you to the edge of the park of the castle which you will skirt.
You arrive at the Doumont and there you take a left to join your starting point.
