This 10 km walk takes you to discover the village of Vezin and its countryside.
You start your walk at the parking lot of the Vezin sports complex. You cross carefully on the crosswalk to reach the hamlet of Bellaire where you take a very beautiful path through the fields. It takes you to the place called La Tombale before going down to the hamlet of Somme and its stream. After a short detour near the Bois des Douze Bonniers, you walk along a small Monument du Souvenir, erected in memory of the miners who died in the Baty Driane disaster in 1883. You then reach Rue de Brichebo where you can admire the old Brichebo Mill, a remarkable building nestled in the greenery. You pass again in the woods and then you come back by the small streets towards the center of Vezin. You carefully cross the road again and then join the paths in the fields in the direction of Bois de la Sarte. When you arrive in the hamlet of Houssoy, you pass the charming Sainte-Barbe chapel recently restored on the initiative of the local committee Vezinons Ensemble. You then pass the Saint-Pierre de Ville-en-Waret church and take a small path parallel to the main street. At the end of this road, don't miss the Ferme d'Houssoy and its famous Tour Carrée. You come back to the Chaussée and walk along it for about ten meters to reach your starting point. Don't hesitate to go a little further down the Rue de Leuze, you can see the splendid castle-farm of Melroy.
