About
Trail On foot of 8 km to be discovered at Wallonia, Namur, Andenne. This trail is proposed by Commissariat général au Tourisme.
Description
Trail created by Vallée de la Meuse Namur-Dinant.
This walk takes you to discover Thon-Samson, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia.
You start in the Rue de Thon which gathers many monuments of the local heritage: old presbytery, castle-farm of Thon or the Church of Saint-Remy... You will also come across some pretty houses or farmhouses made of blue stone. You then leave the center of the village to reach the place called Fond d'El Côre. In the open country, at the crossroads of 4 roads, do not miss the very charming chapel Notre-Dame du Bon Secours and its viewpoint. You then go back up through the fields to Bonneville where you can admire the old farm of Dhuy, the Cense de Jandren, the Château de Bonneville and the Romanesque church of Saint-Firmin. You leave the village behind you to go back to Thon by beautiful paths through the fields. They offer you a unique view on the bell tower of Saint-Remy and the small characteristic houses of the village. You then walk along the Bois du Pelé Tienne to reach the Rue Moineresse. You are in the immediate vicinity of the Samson Valley and a brand new playground, don't hesitate to push your visit to that point. You finally reach the heights thanks to two paths which bring you back to the Rue de Thon, your starting point.

Promenade assez belle. Beaux horizons. Environnement, néanmoins, par moment fort urbanisé.
