From 1933, and until the beginning of WWII, the mill and adjoining brewery produced a beer called the ‘Royale de la Lesse’ (Royal Lesse beer). Afterwards, the mill was closed down until it was restored in 1993. We don’t know when the mill was built, but it was mentioned in sources dating from 1445.
