The Way of the Virgin

Description

we can note the authentic way of the cross of 14 stations in beaten copper (1938-1940), a work by Joseph Gillain (1913-1980), known as Jijé, creator of Spirou and leader of "The school of Marcinelle", specializing in Franco-Belgian realistic comics. Jijé also built and decorated in 1935, seven potteries of the pains of the Virgin who lead to the chapel of Our Lady of Haurt, in the same village of Bure.
