Here at edge of the woods, you can distinctly see the frontier between the Ardennes (woodlands) and the Famenne (fields as far as the eye can see). During winter the distinction is even more striking: the gleaming white of the snow sparkling on the heights starkly contrasts with the deep green hue of the fields below.
