7.4 km | 8.9 km-effort
The RAVeL, a wonderful walking and cycling path that links Houyet to Rochefort and Jemelle, is just a few hundred metres from here. This former railroad was dismantled after 1978 and rehabilitated in 1996 as a path for hikers, cyclists, and other vulnerable road users.
To reach the RAVeL: when you reach the next fork in the road, take a left on Rue de la Marbrerie. 900 metres further is the entrance of the RAVeL to the right, just a bit before the bridge.
Near the entrance of the RAVeL you can see what is left of a marble yard, which gave its name to the road you just took, but closed down a couple of years ago.
