Several buildings still bear witness to the agricultural nature of the village. For example, right after the chemist’s on your left hand side, a typical farmhouse façade in limestone is a perfect illustration of a traditional farmhouse building. From left to right, the main building, the large, high barn door and the stables that used to shelter the livestock during the winter months. On the other side of the road, the Han of Yesteryear Museum still carries the traces of a barn door on its faade. Its particular shape enabled easy access to the highly heaped carts of hay or straw that were used to provide food and bedding for the livestock.
