On your right, you can see the chapel dedicated to the Holy Theresa of Lisieux. It was built in 1931, thanks to personal gifts by Father Pieltin and to the parishioners’ many generous donations. Mr. Lhoist, for one, gifted the limestone, a labourer from the Saint-Remy abbey gave them the land that he had intended for his house, and local farmers conveyed the building material for free. The statue of the Holy Theresa, on a stone circle base, was made out of limestone by the sculptor Jeanmart from Wavreille. The stone is from the Lhoist quarry.
