On your right you can admire the impressive Aiguilles de Chaleux ( or Chaleux Needle Rocks, listed as Exceptional Heritage of Wallonia).
This limestone massif – of which the colours vary from pearl gray to dark gray to black – is a remarkable site, not only esthetically, but also for its archaeological, geological, and...botanical interest. The site is home to an abundant flora of which some very rare species that grow in the safe haven that is provided by the rocks of the ‘Roche de la Chandelle’ (column detached from the massif where rock climbing is strictly forbidden).
