After the third wind mill ('Sint-Janshuismolen') you leave the green bank of the 'Ringvaart' behind you, to enter again in the old town, along a street named 'Rolweg'.
Right at the angle of the narrow street you will find a museum devoted to one of the major well-known Flemish poet and author, namely Guido Gezelle (1830 - 1899). The literary and biographical museum was created in the house where Guido Gezelle was born, at the time when his parents used to work there, as a gardener and a housekeeper. In the museum you can find hand-written letters and other scripts from the famous writer. Along the house is a very romantic garden with an impressive Corsican Pine. Opening times are, from Tuesday to Sunday, 9.30 a.m. < 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. < 5.00 p.m.
