On the village square of Havrenne, note the lovely house with two lion heads on your right and a very colourful little chapel–calvary on your left.
Take your time to stroll around the village square and note the many expressions of the villagers’ devotion and various creations in pink ‘Saint Remy’ marble.
Havrenne is a devout village, with many oratories, rogation crosses, and alcoves devoted to the Virgin Mary. It should be noted that the church parvis (or forecourt), and many of the doorways, flower planters, low walls, alcoves and foundations are entirely made out of Saint Remy marble.
