The small hamlet of Najauge, located a short walk from the village of Mazée, consists of a remarkable miner's settlement, a reminder of the forges' heyday in Vireux in the 19th century. Its "Art Nouveau" houses contrast with the more traditional architecture of the surrounding villages. The tienne (hill) of Najauge which overlooks the hamlet is a national nature reserve featuring a mosaic of limestone shale grasslands and mesotrophic moors. The view to be enjoyed there makes it well worth the visit.
