This can be seen by following the small path to your right, going off the marked trail. This large stone is located in the spot known as "AlSaudëie", on private property.
"In the area, people still remember the custom that brought betrothed couples to this marriage stone, on which they sat back to back. The young villagers tied them together with a sturdy rope, to which a "soquette" (small tree trunk) was attached. Thus bound, the couple had to drag this "soquette" to the village, where the lord of the area would cut the rope with his sword. This was called the "Saudée" (union), hence the name of the spot, "La Saute".
