The Carrière Frimoye (Frimoye Quarry) has been operational again since 2014. The large limestone blocks extracted from it are used by the Wallonian water division to reinforce the banks of the waterway. The eastern part of the quarry is no longer in operation as the Eurasian eagle-owl, a rare, protected species, nests there.
