Terne Rousseau Monument

Description

At Monceau, not far from the war museum, a plaque has been put up to commemorate the 1st armed clash at the Terne Rousseau, between the front lines of the 9th I US division and the delaying elements of the 2nd SS Panzer Division "Das Reich", in position at Macon, which caused the start of hostilities between the 2 armies (12 US soldiers and 5 German).
