At Imbrechies, the stele was erected in memory of the 12 US heroes who entered Cendron on 2 September 44 at around 8.30 am and fell at 11 am on the Crête dImbrechies ridge. It depicts a star from the American flag entering the canton of Chimay,
built by students at the Heureux Abri on 13 May 1988. At this spot, you can also see a Patton M47 tank.
