The Cendron monument

Description

The Cendron monument was erected in 1956, to commemorate the crossing of the Franco-Belgian border by men from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd infantry battalions of the 60th Regiment, 9th infantry division of the 1st US Army. It depicts freedom defeating the tyrant and crushing the prisoner's chains.
