The farm is located at the spot known as the
"Chapelle de Boussu" (Boussu Chapel). Dedicated to Notre-Dame de Bonne Rencontre (Our Lady of Good Encounter),
an old oratory built of limestone blocks in the
17th century, probably in 1664 by Charles-Philippe de
Quiévrain, lord of the area. The rectangular nave ends in a
semi-circular choir, with no primitive openings remaining.
Construction still partially plastered, extended westwards
in 1817, after its conversion in 1804 into a school and
a home for the teacher Jean-Joseph Bastien.
