The Wimbe is an affluent of the Lesse, that takes its source in Haut-Fays and flows through the villages of Froidfontaine, Honnay and Revogne, and then flows around the castle of Lavaux-Sainte-Anne before flowing into the Lesse in Viller-sur-Lesse.
The Wimbe used to play an important part in one of Vonêche’s two crystal works : the Sainte-Anne crystal factory.
The water of the Wimbe was used to proved hydro power two several industrial water mills that in turn powered the crystal cutters
