Don't leave Boutonville without seeing its wonderful little Church of Notre-Dame (Our Lady) in the Romanesque style. The sanctuary, its cemetery enclosed by old walls made of blocks, and the esplanade of chestnut trees form a listed site. This little church dates from the 13th, 16th and 18th centuries. The restoration in 1971-73 included the refurbishment of the
choir's wooden ceiling as well as the high altar and its oak altarpiece. (In June 2001, the "En Fagne et Thiérache" review ran a special feature on the hamlet of Boutonville.)
