The Salle des Fêtes (Function Room) was built in 1930 on the site of an old barn. As for the Place de la Margeride, it was inaugurated in 1999 to celebrate the twinning between our Belgian Grandrieu and Grandrieu Lozère (France). At the back of this square is the presbytery, built in the second half of the 18th century with materials
coming exclusively from the village. The stones come from the "du Roc" quarries and the lime for the kiln came from the same place. The bricks were made with clay extracted from the
meadows opposite the Ferme de la Cour (Court Farm). The wood for the frame comes from La Plagne wood, and the sand from the Grandrieu sand quarries.
