The old Brasserie Renaux brewery, recently turned into a carpentry workshop, was bought by Mr Renaux in 1857. It soon prospered, and a two-storey fattening barn was built. Livestock was fattened using spent hops (residue from the brewing process). The brewery's specialities were: "la Saison" and "Trappistine Renaux". It shut down on 30 June 1960.
