LArbre de la Jeunesse (The Tree of Youth) is a pedunculate oak that was planted circa 1650 by the village youth. Parents who had lost their little girl in the region organised search parties to look for her. In the 17th century, wolves were still regularly seen in our forests, so there was little hope of finding the girl alive and well. That's when the village youth found the girl sleeping. To give thanks for this "miracle", these young people planted this oak at the spot where they discovered her. It is now one of our municipality's remarkable trees, now with a circumference of over 540 centimetres.
