On the Place du Marché in Sart, you will be amazed to discover buildings of great architectural quality, typical of the Spa region:
- The Maison Lespire "As hauts Egrés", whose listed facades date back to 1616.
- The Perron, a symbol of communal freedoms and franchises dating back to 1458.
- The Maison Bronfort, on your left, is an imposing bourgeois building from the
18th century building.
- The Maison Vicariale, now the Tourist Office, is a discreet and elegant
elegant 19th century house that was once the home of the parish vicar.
- Saint-Lambert church dates from 1705
while its listed fortified tower dates back to the 12th century.
- To the right of the church, the Vieux Chêne is at least 500 years old. Tradition has it that Charlemagne dispensed justice here.
- Just behind the Vieux Chêne, don't miss the Maison du Maquis. This beautiful early 19th-century stone farmhouse was home to Prince Charles, brother of King Leopold III, in 1944.
