This villa was occupied by the first female alderman of the town of Spa in 1982, Colette Séquaris.
Known as the Villa de l'Amblève, it features a square tower and many of the characteristics of Anglo-Norman villas in Spa. The painted half-timbered rendering and wooden balcony link it to this style.
The Anglo-Norman style was very popular in Spa from the late 19th century onwards. The Normandy seaside resort of Deauville was a source of inspiration for many architects and future owners of villas in Spa.
