The château of Louppy-sur-Loison, which dates back to 1620,
is a remarkable building and a striking example of the
Renaissance style. A tower and curtain wall rise from its base. These two structures are the remains of the 12th century fortress, which later became a stately home. The château also sheltered Louis XIV during the siege of Montmédy in 1657.
