Originally designed as a large villa by the architect Auguste-Charles Vivroux in 1906, the Balmoral Hotel (now Radisson Balmoral) is an Anglo-Norman-inspired building resulting from several successive extensions. The first ones, dating from 1913, were entrusted to the same designer. Today, the building is a long structure with three gabled facades of different heights, the upper floors of which are partially covered with plaster imitating half-timbering. Numerous painted wooden balconies enliven these façades.
