Currently empty for redevelopment and work on its dam, this lake at the gates of the town is normally fed by the Wayai. This river has its source in a hamlet of the same name and crosses the town of Spa, flowing into the Hoëgne at Theux. The surface area of the lake is 6.5 hectares, its greatest length is 600 m and its greatest width is 200 m. Its depth varies from 1 to 7m. The lake is paved around its perimeter, which allows easy access to the fishing grounds. Numerous walks, a playground, pedal boat hire and several food outlets are available in the vicinity of the lake (currently disrupted due to lake redevelopment).
