A beautiful Louis XVI style building, the work of the architect DIGNEFFE, the Hôtel de Ville was built between 1762 and 1768. In the 18th century, it welcomed the great Lords who came to take the waters. It was "Le Grand Hôtel". In 1822, it became the property of John COCKERILL who transformed it into a carding machine factory. Nowadays, this building houses the administrative services of the Commune. Opposite the entrance to the Town Hall stands the PERRON de SPA, emblem of the communal franchises granted to the Town by the Prince Bishop of Liege in 1594.
