The Pia pouhon is located in a wooded area about 150m N-W of the Chemin des Fontaines, which connects the Géronstère spring to the Sauvenière and Groesbeek springs. It is located on the edge of the small Pendus stream and below the Fagne de Malchamps, at an altitude of 435m. The location of the spring is marked by a small stone fountain which comes from the Géronstère spring and which was moved following a fire in 1893. This small building is semi-cylindrical in shape. There is a shelter next to the fountain. This spring produces ferruginous water.
