The Calvary, erected in 1951-52, was built as thanks for the protection enjoyed by the village of Sautin during the entire war of 1940-1945. The statues of St John,
the Holy Virgin and the cross form a block sculpted from French stone. The base is made of stone from Lompret (village near Chimay).
