The village of Lompret has been listed as one of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia since 1997 because of its surrounding landscapes. At the spot known as "Le camp Romain", flint arrowheads from the Palaeolithic area (the time of the hunter-gatherer economy) were discovered, along with a double rampart from the Neolithic era (access to the Camp Romain viewpoint on Rue G. Joaris, a narrow passageway in a farmyard). Lompret has a festival on the second Sunday in August.
