Release of the new version of SityTrail application

• Between 28th April and 5th May, SityTrail France application will steadily be updated automatically to the new SityTrail application via the AppStore (for iPhone / iPad) and the Play Store (for Android).
  
  Warning :
  
  - The format of the database which manages maps has changed in order to allow more features (selective removal of maps areas, selective update of maps areas, ...). Your maps downloaded previously with SityTrail France application will be deleted when the application is updated, you will have to download them again after the update.
  
  If your are on holidays or hiking during this period and you are not able to download your maps again, we advise you to disable temporarily the automatic update of applications in order not to loose your maps. However, installing this update will be required on 6th May.
  
  -  We advise you to send to your SityTrail account all the trails that you have recorded with your device and that you have not yet uploaded. If you don't do it, it will be more difficult to get them back on the new version of the application.
  
  - Flags that you have created previously with SityTrail France will be sent to the server as soon as you log in to your account on the new version of the application in order to be kept as points of interest on the new platform, in a specific list named "Flags" + the date of the import.
  
  It is temporarily not yet possible to create new flags with the mobile application but you can keep the ones you have created.
  
  We will allow you to view the location of flags on the map in the mobile application in one of the next updates of the application.
   
• On 6th May, the new version of the website currently available on https://beta.sitytrail.com will replace our old website on https://www.sitytrail.com
  
  The update of mobile applications will also be required. You will not be able to start the old version of the application again.
  
  If you have disabled automatic updates on your device, you will be able to do the update manually from the Play Store or the AppStore.
  
  If you use another application (SityTrail Belgium, SityTrail World, ...), it will also redirect to the new application at startup and downloaded maps will not be available anymore. You will have to download them again in the new application.

For customers who are already using the Beta version of our new application

All data created in the Beta version of the application will still be available in the final version of the application / website.
 

For the mobile application :
 

• on iOS (iPhone / iPad) : Nothing changes for you, you will be able to update the application to the final version via the AppStore on 6th May.
   
• on Android :
  
  Tests of the Beta version as a separate app are now closed. This separate Beta application will stop working very soon.
   
  Please check that the last trails recorded with your device have been sent to your account in the Beta version from the mobile application.
   
  Then, you can register to get the new Beta version as an update of SityTrail France via this link : https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.geolives with the same Google account as the one you use on the Play Store.
   
  After that, you will be able to download the new Beta version as an update of SityTrail France via the Play Store (you will also get the final version of the application as an update on 6th May). 
  
  Warning :
  
  - You will have to download your maps again after the update.
