What do the values in the trail following screen represent?

The trail following screen contains several values and features that help to minimise the need to look at your phone when following your trail.

  1. Directional following arrow

The directional arrow indicates the direction to follow in order to stay on the initial route described by the trail.

A short press on this arrow makes a request for directional voice synthesis. Note that to allow this, automatic voice guidance must be enabled beforehand (which it is by default - How do I enable/disable automatic voice guidance?

  2. Kilometres travelled/remaining

These values represent, in kilometres, the distance travelled and the total distance of the trail route being followed.

  3. Turn off following button

A short press on this button will allow you, after a confirmation request, to stop following the current trail.

  4. Remaining time estimate

This value represents the estimated time remaining before the end of the trail, calculated based on your current speed.

  5. Settings

This button takes you to the settings screen of the features offered during following (Enable/disable voice synthesis, directional vibrations, etc.).
