La Gare de Poix

Description

En 1856 la gare de Poix-Sait-Hubert est construite sur la ligne de chemin de fer Namur-Sterpenich, ville belge située à quelques kilomètres de la frontière luxembourgeoise. Trente ans plus tard, pour desservir au mieux la région, on y crée quatre lignes de tramways vicinaux qui relient la gare à Saint-Hubert et à d'autres villes de la région (Bouillon, Libin, etc.). La compagnie des vicinaux de Poix cessera ses activités en 1962.
