About
Trail Mountain bike of 19.7 km to be discovered at Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Hautes-Alpes, Le Dévoluy. This trail is proposed by Camping Les Rives du Lac.
Description
A beautiful long hike but little technical, except on the lower part (which can be avoided by going directly from Superdévoluy to Saint Etienne).
Park at the tourism house of Saint Etienne en Devoluy. Either follow the route and the beginning of the trail is quite steep, or follow the road to the junction of the forest track. Follow the trail for 6 kms to the pass. The track is rolling and very well maintained.
From the pass, follow the GR. Pass a little tricky at the waterfall. then descent in alp, forest road. Follow the route to Superdévoluy. Some variations if you wish.
From Superdévoluy, follow the route of the Puy tour (some passages tria-reading), or descend directly to Saint Etienne.
The landscapes are grandiose, very wild.
